Hip and Hamstring: deeply grounding practice.
Open to students of all levels, this workshop will look to release tension, tightness and discomfort in the area of hip and hamstrings. We will also work on postures, which increase overall flexibility and mobility in the area.
Hips play an important role in the structural alignment of the body and can get tight either from our daily activities or lack of it ( walking, running cycling or sedentary work/ life style, driving a lot or just plain stress of everyday life). Some people discover that their hip and hamstrings are naturally on the tighter side. Regular practice of stretching and opening hips and hamstrings can help relieve some back or even neck pain.
Hips are known as a storage of anxiety and stress in our physical body. Promoting freedom of movement in in the hip and hamstring area in the physical body can help us feel more at ease with our emotions and mental drama, opening us to a deeper grounding practice and sense of peace.
