Join us on Monday, Aug. 21, beginning at 1:15 pm on the terrace for an eclipse viewing party. Hosted by Bell Works and sponsored by metroburb tenant Blue Blaze Financial Advisors LLC, tenants and community members are all welcome.
What to expect from #EclipseAtBell (a not so total eclipse for NJ, but still a stellar view!)
— On Monday, Aug. 21 the moon will pass between the sun and Earth over the United States, casting a dark shadow. From our spot here at Bell Works, we’ll be able to witness a 70-80% blockage of the sun! The partial eclipse will begin at about 1:20 p.m., peak at about 2:45 p.m. and end shortly before 4 p.m. More info on everything you need to know about the solar eclipse in New Jersey: app.com/

— If you’re wondering if you can photograph the eclipse with your smartphone, the answer is yes! But of course, you’ll have to be careful. Prepare for those Instagram pics by reading NASA’s tips on protecting your phone camera: eclipse2017.nasa.gov/can-i-photograph-eclipse-my-sm
— Some rules specific to Bell Works:
— To RSVP, simply tap 'going' on the event page: facebook.com/events/109719126366390/.
Guests are NOT required to post with their number of attendees.
— Doors open at 1:15 pm.
— Tenants will receive special instructions for picking up their glasses.
— Safety glasses will be available to the public on a first-come-first-served basis. There is a total of 1,000 pairs available. If you are attending with friends, we kindly ask you to consider sharing among your group. An RSVP does NOT guarantee you will receive glasses.
— Guests are encouraged to bring chairs for lawn viewing. Overflow from the terrace will be placed on the lawn and surrounding areas- we’re thinking this might be the best place to view the eclipse!
— Please recycle glasses in designated bins once you finish using them so others can enjoy too!
— Beverages and light fare will also be available. The eclipse begins at 1:23 pm and will peak at 2:45 pm. Guests are welcome at any point during the eclipse event which will wrap up at 4:01 pm.
A huge thank you to Blue Blaze Financial Advisors LLC for sponsoring the event. Other thanks to band Data & the Analytics from Spirent who will be providing music for the event. You can look forward to all songs related to the sun- hint: Here Comes the Sun.
