NYU Creative Writing Program faculty member Nathan Englander is the author of the new novel Dinner at the Center of the Earth (Knopf, September 2017). His other works of fiction are For the Relief of Unbearable Urges, The Ministry of Special Cases, and What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank. He is the winner of the PEN/Malamud Award and the Frank O’Connor Literary Short Story Award, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction, and a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship. This event is hosted by NYU Creative Writing Program faculty member and National Book Critics Circle Award winner Darin Strauss.
