Strengthening a Global Ecosystem to Achieve Quality Education for All

Providing high quality, inclusive education for all, one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, is vital for shaping a world that is more peaceful and prosperous than our world is today. Achieving this goal will rest upon strong local leaders who are empowered and supported to develop effective solutions, adopt and contextualize best practices from others, and continuously improve. Reflection on current investments in these areas reveals that there is an opportunity and a critical need to increase attention to these issues.

As we mark two years since the United Nations announced their Sustainable Development Goals for high-quality, inclusive education for all, join experts to find out how we can achieve this by encouraging local stakeholders to benefit from the knowledge and experience of global stakeholders.

Speakers include Tony Jackson, Vice President of Education and Director of the Center for Global Education at Asia Society; Gina Lagomarsino, President and CEO of Results for Development; Ariel Pablos-Mendez, Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center and former head of USAID Health; J. Puckett, ‎Senior Partner and Managing Director, The Boston Consulting Group; Alice Albright, CEO, Global Partnership for Education; Wendy Kopp, CEO of Teach For All; Ju Ho Lee, Education Commissioner and former Minister of Education, Republic of Korea; Dolores Dickson, Executive Director, Camfed Ghana; and Elyas Felfoul, Head of Administration, World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE).

This event is co-presented by the Center for Global Education at Asia Society, Teach For All, Results for Development, the Center for Universal Education at The Brookings Institution, and Credit Suisse.

This public event will be preceded by a private, invite-only convening. For more information on the private event, please contact the Center for Global Education at [email protected]
