The Queens Night Market will be free and open to all again starting on May 5th.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Food offerings include the always-popular Trinidadian shark sandwiches, Burmese palatas, Indonesian kue pancong, Malaysian «ramly» burgers, Salvadoran pupusas, and Romanian chimney cakes; and new entries include Thai Roasted Crickets; Mexican Tacos Al Pastor; Indian Parantha, Chole Bhature, and Kachori; Italian Porchetta; Moldovan Waffle Rolls; Brazilian Coxinha and Sonho; Peruvian Jalea; Sudanese Sambuksa and Dakwa; Laotian Larb. We still have a general $5 price cap on food, although a handful of vendors may be selling at $6. Art/merchandise offerings include Quechuan handicrafts, NYC-theme apparel, Indian jewelry, contemporary art, Pusheen merchandise, and henna.
As always, we will have a great lineup of live music and performances, including DJ Lil Buddy, Batala New York, bridges and powerlines, and Loupakis Athletic Center.
We will have our popular Beer & Wine Garden, so bring your IDs if you're interested in adult beverages!
GETTING THERE: Due to extremely limited available parking, we encourage all visitors to leave their cars at home and commute, bike, or walk to the Night Market.
