Join us every night in Ramadan for a community Iftar (dinner) to break your fast. Taraweeh prayers will be held after Ishaa Prayer every day of this blessed month. This is open and free for everyone in the community, so bring your family and friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the community or have been here for years. We welcome everyone. It’s all part of what makes the Islamic Center special, and what will make your time in NYC unforgettable.
This Ramadan, come experience what community should feel like.
During Ramadan, our free iftar dinners will travel the globe and include vegetarian options. We will also host a variety of programs, including a sisters only qiyam, throughout the month, insha’Allah. Finally, at the end of the month, we will celebrate Eid al-Fitr with prayers and brunch open to the entire community! These are just some of the numerous services offered here at the Islamic Center at New York University.
