Nakki Goranin, is a film and darkroom photographer, unable to find her way to the computer. Also a passionate Photohistorian, she is addicted to quickie Photography i.e. photobooths, tintypes and instant street photography. With a Master's degree in Photography from Indiana University, and a one way ticket to Vermont, Nakki started out by documenting the Vermont Abenaki Community. She then was awarded an NEA grant administered through the Vermont Council on the Arts, as an Artist-in Residence. Her work and collections have been displayed in both European and American Museums. Her photographs have appeared in both films, and art books worldwide. Her last book was American Photobooth. She is completing a book on tintypes.
